Sandy Greaves Campbell – CEO of The Firehouse Group
Sandy joined The Firehouse in 2008 when she started up the public relations arm of the Group, Firehouse Communications. Sandy was appointed the Group CEO in 2010 and is responsible for the overall Group including communications, advertising and digital.
Sandy has more than 12 years of communications experience specialising in financial and corporate public relations. She has spent the majority of time working in a 360 degree agency and has attained a solid understanding of the communications industry.
Sandy has worked on a number of clients such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, UPS, Blue Financial Services (listing and ongoing PR), Imperial Holdings, Tiger Brands, Mutual & Federal, DBSA, Franklin Templeton, Maravedi Credit Solutions, John Deere and AMAP. Prior to starting up The Firehouse Communications, Sandy spent three years at Dynamo Africa (Previously Citigate) were she was head of the PR division for two years.
In addition, Sandy spent nearly six years at Meropa Communications in the financial division. Her clients included Tiger Brands, Amalgamated Appliance Holdings, British Airways, Botswana International Financial Services Centre and The Spar Group (the listing until she left).
Rowan John – Creative Director
Rowan started with White House – (Small Agency of the year for 3 consecutive years), where he worked on Opel, Bristol Myers Squibb and South African Druggists. He was awarded for his work on Alitalia.He then joined BSB Bates and worked on accounts such as Benson & Hedges (highest rated commercials by Marketplace) and Famous Grouse.
Rowan was offered a position at Herdbuoys (SABC 1,2,3) He picked up Loerie finalists for the ‘95 World Cup Ads for The Star Newspaper before joining Saatchi & Saatchi where he developed the launch communications for The National Lottery – Tata ma Chance, Tata ‘ma Millions.
He spent 3 years at Euro RSCG/Cairo before returning to join King James JHB on brands like Mini, Steers and Deloitte’s. Rowan has won silverware from Loeries to London Internationals, and this is the experience and knowledge he puts into your brand.Erica Flohr – Client Service Director
Erica Flohr is the company’s Client Service Director and has been working in the advertising industry for 10 years. She gained experience across the advertising spectrum which included a vast understanding of communications by managing accounts across all divisions of the group.
With additional knowledge in the daily functioning of PR, digital, events and advertising, Erica offers a range of expertise that covers strategic input and overall management of accounts on all levels. Her passion and enthusiasm for advertising and account management is contagious and offers clients a fresh approach to business.
Erica has worked on accounts such as Revlon, McCain, Tiger Brands, AA Autobay, Blue Financial Services, Automobile Association of South Africa and Mutual & Federal.
Craig Atherfold – Head of Investor Relations
For the past 12 years, Craig has worked across a range of clients offering consulting, account management, strategic counsel and practical implementation advice. His experience includes Queensgate Hotels and Leisure, Beige, Ububele Holdings, Murray & Roberts, Coca-Cola and McDonalds.
His portfolio of clients spans a number of difference practice areas and this broad range of experience makes Craig a key player in accounts demanding cross-practice area implementation. He has worked in the investor relations, public relations and integrated marketing communications with a key focus on reputation management and corporate communications in the technology and telecommunications fields, having worked on clients such as Cisco, Citrix and Comztek.
